Georgia is a stunning country bordered by Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia and Turkey. I visited Georgia in September 2019 and it turned out to be one of my favourite (solo) trips so far. Although, I planned a solo trip to Georgia, I found out an old friend of mine was traveling in Georgia at the same time. We spent a few days together in which we explored Tbilisi and travelled to the Signaghi wine region for some tastings. On our last day together we rented a car and went on a little road trip to Gergeti Trinity church in Stepantsminda. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t the best that day, but the views were still amazing!
After those days it was me, myself and I again. However, I met really lovely people along the way. During the 3-day hike I did, at the guesthouses and at the train station.
